1st Day of PreSchool

Here is Kali on her first day of school. She wouldn't let me do anything with her hair and this is the cutest outfit I could get her to agree on......

Happy Visit

I took Kali to the dentist the other day for the first time... Well, she didn't actually see the dentist. They just call it a happy visit and show her the instruments, let her ride in the chair, and count her teeth. She was a very good little girl and enjoyed the water & suction that she asked the girl to "do that again".

Spent part of the afternoon with Kali at the beach.
Hopefully the nice weather will stick around so we can do it again.

Scott and I took Kali golfing tonight. She was quite the trooper. We got a late start because she wouldn't eat supper. Told her we wouldn't go if she didn't. When she finally ate, it was closer to 7:30 when we got there. Needless to say, it got a bit cold. She bundled in her coats & blanket. Wouldn't keep the mittens on. She was so good.

Mother's Day Weekend was a fun one.

Saturday, I spent the day with the Mom In Law at Emma's dance recital. Although it was long, it was cute.... then we headed back to our house for supper. Mark and Katie came over. Unfortunately Pat didn't make it. He was too busy working in the wood shed, trying to finish up last minute projects. Could it be my bathroom mirror/vanity thingy for above the nice cabinet he made me?

Sunday.....I went to church with mom, dad, and Krissy... Unfortunately, Krissy didn't make it the whole mass. She had to excuse herself. Then we headed back to our house for breakfast/brunch with the Hendersons. Mom, dad, me, Scott, Kali, Krissy, Bob, Jaden, Rogan, Gram & Gramp Henderson all came. Ashley & Chelsea couldn't make it because they were working...

Scott did a wonderful job cooking. Breakfast tasted great and we appreciate all the hard work cooking.

Daddy was teaching Kali how to plant a garden tonight.

Fun Day at the Mall

Kali, Ashley, & I met up with Krissy, Jaden, & Rogan at the mall yesterday. There were many exhibits that the kids could go to and learn different things.

A Day at the Lake

Today we went up to Scott's mom and dad's house. The guys were splitting firewood and filling up the shed & part of the back of the pole building. I pitched in a bit so the work could get done quicker.
Kali & Emma made a bunch of bubbles for a while and then Kathy kept them busy most of the day. They went for a nice long walk and picked some rocks so they can use them in the stepping stones they will be making.


I stepped out of the box today and even through sticks for Buddy to fetch. Here he is trying to get the one that landed in the middle of the tree.

Mommy/Kali Night

Scott was away at camp, so Kali and I spent some time bumming around and visiting people. First stop was to Burger King so we could get a Sponge Bob toy (she never got it because she didn't eat and was being mean later on in the night).

Second stop, Webster school so she could play at the playground.

Third stop, mom and dad's house. They weren't there, so we headed to the Kositzky house and visited for a bit while we waited for Krissy to get home. Grandpa Dave was kind enough to take out the "little" car so Kali could tear up their yard for a little bit. We watched Nancy break the chair she was sitting on.....

Then off to the Gravelle's so Kali could play with Rogan for a bit...

Then home, a little bit of cartoons, and off to bed for Kali. Now I'm playing around on the computer, gonna watch some American Idol with no husband narration.... then off to bed.

Room Progress

Our room is getting there. Scott opened up the door between the living room and new room. It looks large standing in the living room and looking down into it. Here are some pictures.

Not quite sure what Scott has in mind for this top middle seam in the ceiling that isn't drywalled.

Can't wait until it is finished. Although, depending on Scott's work schedule, assuming he has a job.... It may stay like this until winter again. We'll just move furniture in and love it like that for a while.

Kali the Hard Worker

Kali was quite the helper today. We finally got another battery for the John Deere so she helped her dad haul wood back to the fire.

And hooray! We're going to have a mechanic in the family. She helped work on Scott's 4 wheeler so it will run beautifully for his trip out to LaBranche. He's going to take a little trip with Ross for the night tomorrow.

We had Kali's birthday party this weekend and had about 30 people to the house for her celebration. Sunday, we went to my mom and dad's for Easter. Fun was had all weekend long.

Happy Anniversary To Us!

Today marks our 5th wonderful year of marriage. My sister Krissy was kind enough to watch Kali for a little while and we went out to supper. Came home, Scott built a fire, we stayed outside for a little while and came back in. Here are some pictures I tried with a new camera. Let me know how they look on your end.
