Haircut

Kali got her first haircut yesterday. What an absolute angel she was. I'm thinking I brought in the wrong kid with me. She marched right in, said she wouldn't cry, climbed up on the chair, sat with the cape on and kept peeking at me out of the side of her eye with a little grin on her face. Too darn cute! With my last minute decision to attempt this (never thought she'd sit still), I didn't have my camera on me. We ran to Shopko just before and you'll have to wait til I get my disposable camera developed.
Pictures to follow................

Pumpkin Carving

We attempted to have a family night of carving pumpkins. Kali only lasted a little bit and then wanted to go play her game. Here is how they turned out. Scott did Kali's little one and his bigger round one. Mine is the taller one with the shapes.

Pumpkin Pickin

Went to Miron's on Sunday to get pumpkins. Me, Mom, Kris, Kali, Jaden, & Rogan all went. Here are some pictures. The one of the girls at the picnic table is Kali with her two new friends "at school". We were picking pumpkins, she was in the back yard with them.

Gold Rush 2008

Delta Plaza mall was the hot spot to be this week with people turning in lots of jewelry for cash. Some people raked in over $2,000.00 and were crazy enough to go back and forth two or three times and even send their husbands. Myself, I took home $140.00 from broken jewelry I had in my jewelry box. Now just to decide what I want to buy myself. Scott feels I should have kept my one necklace that could be a family heirloom. Sorry, Kali. I'll have to buy you your own when you are old enough.
