This Past Weekend

Lots of exciting things from the past weekend.

First, Kali looking cute as a button, too bad the picture is a little blurry.

Then the roofing of Mark's trailer...

Gotta find the picture for you. Just remembered it's on Kathy's camera.

Then we went to the track meet. (Good Job Chels. 6th Place!)

And then there was Homecoming.

And don't forget Sunday Football. Kali and Scott bonded during the Viking game.

Chelsea's new honey is a little cutie...

Daddy & His Girls

Ashley came home from college for the weekend. Her, Kali, and Scott had a little game of football going on. I think they were more trying to keep Buddy from slobbering all over the ball than actually playing.

Deer Season

Here is a not very good picture of one of the deer in the yard tonight. It's the first time I saw this six pointer. I've been seeing a 7 & 8 pointer, some babies and their mamas. Scott has already started to feed them. I should go broke by the end of the winter. Anyone know where to get cheap corn?

Football Season

Football season has started and it is the Lion/Packer game this weekend. I need to find some decorations so I can decorate my desk area at work in Honolulu Blue & Gray.

Go Lions!

Getting Ready For Winter

We tried on Kali's snow suit that we purchased last year on clearance at Walmart. Not knowing what size she'll be in, I bought a 2T, and then when she started wearing some 3T, I was a little worried. No need to be worried, it was a bit big. Now we need to buy some matching boots.

Kali Being Silly

Planting MORE Trees

Scott and Kali planted two trees back out by the fire pit. They'll probably die because there won't be enough rain and that is way too far back in the back 40 for me to remember to water them.

Trip to Iversons

Well, I made the trip to Iversons to order shingles. First of all it was a production to get Kali out of the house to come with me. This is what she decided she needed to wear. (can you see the pony tail?...how cute!)

My darling girl all dressed up for her trip to the store:

And..... FINALLY.....the color:

DRIFTWOOD. Sorry Chris, thanks for the brown suggestion, but I went with the gray tones.

Here is what my house may look like. It looks kind of blue in the picture, but it is actually a charcoal kind of gray and looks really sharp. (You were right Kristen, thanks.)

Labor Day Weekend

Well, the weekend was spent working on the house. A lot was done and there is a lot more to do. Trusses are all up, the old and new roof are connected properly, a portion of the sheeting & paper and flashing went up. I need to pick out shingles. Hard part is deciding what color siding I'll want to be getting so the roof can match.

Here are some pictures from the weekend....
