It's been a long few days. Kali is getting what I think is a two year molar. She's been cranky, tired, and won't eat or drink much. She also hasn't been wanting to go to bed and screams when I put her in the crib. We were up til 1:30 the other night, late last night.....Mom's a little tired. Finally today she got up and told me "it's better". She still complained a little, but she ate two bowls of cereal, so that's a good sign. Let's see how she does the rest of the day and night. Although Scott is home tonight, so she'll probably go to bed like a little angel at 9:00 and not hear a peep out of her all night.

Golf Banquet

Well...tonight was the final night of golf league. I actually enjoyed it and wish it was still going for a few more weeks. It's still plenty nice to golf.

It cost me $20 to get into the league. Tonight I came home with $36.75. Whoo hooo. $20 for the closest putt from our fun night, $15 for taking 5th place, and $1.75 for splitting a skin 4 ways.... We either need to be a more betting league, or get more people involved. I didn't realize it until I started this year, but you don't have to be a member to join the league. It's just a small $10.00 fee to play each week. Nine Holes...and I think for $5 more, you can get a cart.. But don't quote me on that one.

Ashley's Going Away Party

Here are some pictures from tonight's get-to-gether..... Ashley wanted lasagna for her last meal..haha... Well, not next year, especially if it is this warm. WOW... The stove did not need to be on. But anything for her, we love her and will miss her. The pics don't show everyone. Grandma & Grandpa Wyman, Grandma & Grandpa Henderson, Great Gram & Gramp Henderson, Mark, Emma, Katie, Me, Scott, Kali, Krissy, Bob, Jaden, & Rogan were all here to celebrate the beginning of another school year.

He Gave In....

Making Paper.....Is she going to take after her Grandpa's...Dad...or even Mom, who worked at Mead for a summer...?
One of the Exhibition Buildings.... Merry Go Round.... Kali was still a little too short, so someone had to ride with her. But we probably would anyway. That thing went pretty fast for a little kid ride.

How Was The Fair?

Here's a picture of Kali at last year's fair. There will be no picture this year. We had plans to go today, but Kali didn't cooperate and her dad was a little irritated, ok..pissed... at her and she had many time outs. So all plans of the fair and camping out at the fire in the back yard were shot down the drain.

So how was it? I'm sure, same as usual.

Hooray....

We finally scored below 50. Went golfing tonight. Scored a 39. Unfortunately, Debbie & I can't claim the score to ourselves. It was a 4 woman scramble and we had a couple of ladies that really know how to golf.
It was the league's fun night. Thought I was doing great when at the end there was a closest to the pin putt and I beat the person on the list. She had 14' 6". I had 7'. Hmm...come to find out, the hole confused people and they didn't even try. Was a little curious about that one. There are a lot of good golfers that I know would have made it a lot closer than the original 14 foot. Oh well...It was fun.

John Deere Green

Look at Kali's new toy. It's not quite as big as Grandpa Pat's, but this will do just fine. As you can see she's got all she needs....her "truck" and her juice and M&M's in the back.

My friend Debbie & her husband Jon were kind enough to give this to Kali today. We took it for a test drive. We're going to have to do a little Driving 101 with Kali so she can get the concept of turning the wheel and watching where she's going.

She's waiting for Rogan to come over so he can sit in it with her and take her for a ride. She kept wanting to sit in the passenger seat.

Thanks Debbie & Jon! Kali's going to have a ball on it.

Last Night of Golf League

Tonight was the last night of league. Next week is a fun night, and the following is our banquet. Kali spent the evening with Grandma Sandy. They went out to Aunt Judy's house and swam in the river. Kali caught two minnows in her net. She called them perch....well, it's close right? Then they went and got Chicken McNuggets and went back to our house so Kali could settle in. Mom met them back there after golf about 9:00. Grandma stayed for a bit and then headed home. She doesn't like to drive in the dark. Next time, she'll spend the night and we'll have a Mother/Daughter bonding night... Thanks Mom!
