Kali's 1st Golf Outing

Tonight me, Kali, and Debbie Muffler went golfing. She actually wasn't too bad. But anyone that knows her, knows she doesn't sit still for too long. We brought along her golf clubs and she wanted to hit them a few times. Then she would want to drive the cart, and also draw pictures on the score sheet. Unfortunately...no pictures. Maybe next time.

Kids Kingdom

Scott and I took Kali to Kids Kingdom for the first time last night.. She had fun. Then we took a walk on the beach. She didn't want to put her feet in the water/sand at first, but then she wanted to walk out in her shorts. Needless to say, she was a little wet when we left there.

A Work of Art

Kali and I went shopping and bought some new paint. Here are our masterpieces.

House Mishaps

Instead of putting trusses up last weekend, the bathroom and extra area here were gutted out in anticipation of being someday remodeled. The trusses were delivered, all 27 of them in the wrong size. Thanks to Pat for making phone calls, the new & correct ones should hopefully be here by the weekend.

Dress Up

Kali was playing quietly in her room and came out looking like this.

Guess I better start shopping the clearance racks for dress up clothes for her. She's missing something to go with her shoes.

Scott's Palace

The Wyman boys spent the weekend putting up the walls on our new room.

The Wyman girls cooked lunch & supper and hung around and helped when needed.

It's nice to actually see some major improvement on that room. Scott was pretty proud of himself. Things went together pretty smoothly and we didn't hear too much swearing. He only had to fix a few windows so they were up to code. Thanks Pat..

Also a big thanks to Mark and the girls who stayed over and watched Kali so Scott and I could go out and actually do something for a change that isn't work on the house. We appreciate it!!!

Cheers to the Bride & Groom!

David & Jessica got married this weekend. Rehearsal dinner was at the Swedish Pantry, wedding at the Terrace, and a picnic the following day at Pat & Kathy's.

Here is Kali making a toast to the new bride & groom.

Jessica and David really took the time to make their wedding unique. It was very elegant, non-traditional, and fun.

Each bridal party member was introduced with a little bio about them, including how Scott tries to sing karaoke to "Play That Funky Music White Boy". Instead of clinking glasses to get the happy couple to kiss, you had to sing a song to them with the word love in it. In order to eat, someone at your table had to give the correct answer to the "Are You Smarter Than a Kindergartener" question. Instead of the dollar dance, they had a honeymoon dance. In order to dance with either one of them you had to fill out a card with some words of wisdom. And to end the night, the happy couple dashed through lines of people holding sparklers.

Being that it was the 4th of July, we also watched part of the fireworks. I think after the big debate, Escanaba's fireworks were classified as the best.
