God Help Me.....

.....To become a better mom with more patience.....Because Kali was sure trying my patience this weekend. Grandma Kathy was kind enough to invite us to Green Bay to spend a night with her and Emma....and Emma was kind enough to share her weekend with grandma...... However, Kali felt she could be a brat, not listen, cry, scream, lay on the floor, and all those other wonderful things you don't want your kid to do in public.

Needless to say, I'm writing this as I drink beer to relieve stress, and Scott plays with Kali to keep her away from me. I know, that sounds horrible.....but.... Anyway, here are some pictures.

OK, I give up at trying to rearrange these photos/comments... I lost my first pics, now I have a big space.....

The one picture of Emma on the rock, and Kali with an attitude.....should have been a cute picture on the rock before that one... They were both on the rock, nice background...smiles...yes, Kali too.....and guess what. Mom's camera wasn't on and ready quick enough.

Oh well, despite (is that spelt right?) the problems this weekend, we had fun. Thanks again Kathy.

Helping on the House

Kali was helping out her dad last weekend (me too). After a lot of hard work, we got all of the boards in for the floor. Even though Scott had put a bunch in and had to take some back out because he forgot to cut holes for the pipes.....it still got done. Hopefully by next year this room will be done and finished, we could finish small projects on the first part of the house we started and didn't do, and maybe then we can enjoy our time together...go out, do things with the kids....anything but work.

Happy Birthday Mom!

We went to my mom's tonight to celebrate her 57th birthday. Ashley was able to make it, but Scott & Chelsea were working....Hopefully they remembered to call her and wish her a Happy Birthday!. One of these days I will purchase a new camera that is nice and small and compact that I can keep in my purse and will have with me at times like this to capture "the moment"..... Rogan and Kali had a good time playing, Jaden skipped out early to go fishing with his dad.

So, today I went out golfing for the first time this year. My friend Debbie and I decided it was probably better not to keep score. Didn't want to discourage us from playing this year. I actually didn't do too bad. I had some nice shots, some not so nice shots.....and really need to work on my putting and chipping. Well league starts next week. Hopefully the ladies will be patient and not kick me out.

Halloween ?

I know the year is flying by already, but it's a little early for Halloween. Me, Ashley & Kali went to a rummage sale today and for the bargain price of $1.00, we got Kali her Halloween outfit for this year (as long as she doesn't grow like a weed between now and then). She can even say "witch". Well, kind of.

Go Fly a Kite

Dad helped Kali fly her first kite. It was windy, but not enough to keep it in the air very long. Kali was a little impatient wanting to "I Try". Fun was had by all..

First Communion

Payton Caswell's "First Communion". After having mass, everyone went back to Payton's house to celebrate and have lunch. The picture of the cross is the sign Payton made and was displayed on the end of the pew her family sat in.

Kali is finally letting me put some hair accessories in. After two years there is actually some hair on her head that will fit in a pony tail or a barrette. Look how grown up she is looking...

NFL Draft Weekend
